In 1963, days after the March on Washington, the Philadelphia suburb of Folcroft, PA erupted in rioting after the first Black family, the Bakers, moved into the town. Writer/journalist Ryan K. Smith sat down with Phyllis Taylor in 2013 to discuss the incident. Mrs. Taylor and her husband, Richard, were integral in helping the Bakers out of their predicament.
